Since we live in a world that fights for us to submit to its ways it is important that we get principles on how to engage in the culture not separate from it. Peter will help us live out our faith in the places we live and work.

There is so much in this passage that can help us in our spiritual walks. David starts out with a noble desire but ends with God giving a pretty significant plot twist. It is the switch from David's desire to build God a house to God's desire to build David a house.
