Cuando una serie al mejor de 7 en cualquier deporte se coloca 3-0, pierde un aditivo de interés por parte de los espectadores, no sé si estaremos en lo cierto o no, pero es algo así como que ya sabemos que el que está al frente de la misma, logrará conseguir el objetivo final que es ganarla. Esto que menciono cobra mayor valor cuando ocurre en las finales de la NBA, dónde nadie jamás en la historia de la liga, ha logrado remontar tal desventaja, nada es imposible y siempre hay una primera vez dicen algunos famosos dichos populares, pero creo no aplican para esta ocasión, pues el dominio de los Celtics sobre los Mavericks es muy evidente.

Las bondades de los Celtics de Boston son muchas, están amparados en un juego colectivo que va más allá de que un jugador tenga buenos números individuales, cada pieza del quinteto verde hace lo suyo sin entorpecer el trabajo de otro, ese juego los ha llevado a que físicamente sean superiores a los de Dallas, y que los tengan al frente en esta contienda final, a punto de conquistar su décimo octavo campeonato en la liga, uno más que sus acérrimos rivales Los Angeles Lakers, lo que sería el primero desde el 2008, superando en el tercer choque de esta serie en su edición de 2024, 106 a 99 a los Mavericks de Dallas.
