A cradle Episcopalian and native of Texas, Bishop Love moved to up-state New York in the fall of 1982, complements of Uncle Sam. He served in the United States Air Force as an Air Intelligence Officer stationed at Plattsburgh AFB in Plattsburgh, NY from 1982-1986. At the rank of captain, he resigned his commission in order to enter the ordination process in the Diocese of Albany.He is a graduate of Nashotah House Seminary (Wisconsin),. Bishop Love was ordained Deacon by Bishop David Ball at the Cathedral of All Saints (Albany) on the Feast of St. Alban, June 22, 1991. He served as the Dean’s Vicar at the Cathedral until shortly after his ordination as a priest on March 28, 1992. On May 1, 1992, he became the Rector of St. Mary’s Church, Lake Luzerne, where he served until being elected as bishop coadjutor of Albany on March 25, 2006. Consecrated on September 16, 2006, Bishop Love served as bishop coadjutor for approximately 5 months before being installed as the 9th Bishop of Albany at the Cathedral of All Saints on Sunday, February 4, 2007. He is the 1007 bishop consecrated in The Episcopal Church and the last bishop to be consecrated by The Most Rev. Frank Griswold, 25th Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church.Bishop Love firmly believes in the authority of Holy Scripture as the living Word of God. He describes himself as Anglo Catholic, Evangelical and Charismatic, committed to the Great Commandment and Great Commission. He is a strong believer in the healing power of Jesus Christ. His constant prayer is to be a channel of God’s love and mercy and healing grace in this broken and hurting world in which we live. He has served on several short term mission trips to Uganda, Bolivia, Peru, South Sudan, Northern Malawi, and Haiti, as well as visits to the Diocese of the Arctic, the Diocese of Down and Dromore in Northern Ireland and the Diocese of Maridi in South Sudan.Bishop Bill and his wife Karen (a retired USAF Colonel and current high school math teacher) have been married 36 years. They are richly blessed with two adult children and their spouses: Chris and his wife Lauren, and Catie and her husband Doug Jones, in addition to four grandchildren. Personal hobbies include: hiking, kayaking, photography, and travel enjoying the beauty of God’s creation.

Mother Judith began serving as the rector of St. John’s on November 1, 2019. Prior to accepting the call to St. John’s, Mother Judith served as Curate at St. Paul’s in Albany.She received her bachelor’s degree from Brown University and her Masters in Divinity at Trinity School for Ministry, where she received the seminary’s award for excellence in liturgy.Before entering the seminary, she worked in social services, Christian education, and served as a church organist and music director. She is married to the Rev. Tom Malionek, who is the rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Kinderhook; they have two grown children.

Fr. Scott trained for ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary and Nashotah House Episcopal Seminary and was ordained a Priest on January 9, 2010. He served as a Curate at Christ Church In Ballston Spa from January 2010 through December 2013 with a focus on evangelism and healing ministry, becoming Priest In Charge of All Saints Round Lake in January 2014.Scott holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from RPI and is married to Stephanie – they have four beautiful children.
