Jim moved out to California when he was 18 with a surfboard and not much of a plan. He worked hard and after working some construction jobs, he realized he could start a business of his own. As a young entrepreneur at one point he almost went bankrupt. He never stopped learning and he never stopped working hard. In his 27 years of running his company Affirmed Housing, he has produced over 4100 units , financed over 1.4 billion dollars, and has supported over 53 communities all across California.
