Nate called me during part 1 of this podcast and it ended the podcast so I had to roll with it and just start a part 2 to the podcast. When life throws you a curveball and you aren’t ready for it, just swing away!

I just made it to Julian California!!! I have only 54 miles left on my run across the United States of America. What a feeling it is to be where I am right now. Let’s keep fighting!

After 202 days and over 3100 + miles we enter California.

The little voice in your head comes around every once in awhile when things don’t go your way. It tries to prey on you when you are weak. Silence the voice by remembering all that you have overcome. Get out there and get it done like you know you can!

I recap what’s been going on over the last week out here on the run. It was an unbelievable experience running through The University of Arizona n Tucson yesterday. I graduated from U of A in 2017 and I never would have thought I’d be doing something like this. Tucson was just a pit stop we got some more miles to do before the finish! Run with me on December 8th in SD for the last day. Start time at 10 am from Torrey Pines High School all the way to Powerhouse Park in Del Mar. It’s going to be a huge celebration. Let’s get it 🙏👊

I’m on Day 173 of my run across America and just ran through Deming, New Mexico. I reflect on the journey and where I am today and where I was before this run started. I also talk about the final run in San Diego. It will take place on Sunday December 8th at 10 am from Torrey Pines High School. Anyone is welcome to walk or run the last 3 miles with me from there all the way to Powerhouse Park. There will also be an after party at a location TBA from 11-4 pm with a live performance. Would mean the world to have you all there!

Sometimes I notice that we are aiming for perfection over consistency when we are striving for our goals and dreams. In my experiences. Consistency has breeded character, and Perfection has breeded jealousy and a constant lack of satisfaction. Take the best golfer in the world, when you look at all things aside they tend to be really consistent. Do they have bad days? OF COURSE! But do they continue to show up day after day to get better and better, THEY DO. Keep going for it everyone!
