Since this is my very first podcast episode I thought it should only be fair to have the person who started me out on the plant-based lifestyle my very own mother Dr. Laurie Marbas the first guess on the show.

In the podcast, we go over how Dr. Marbas treated here first couple patients who had several chronic diseases and how they were able to overcome them through a plant-based diet. All while we discuss how she manages to get hundreds of people to be vegan in a small country town called Rifle.

We also go into detail about how the medical community as a whole in the United States views treating chronic diseases and their opinions on diet.
