Episode 005: Inspiration Guided Action : MAKING IMPORTANT DESIGN DECISIONS- PART 2

Listen Later

Does decision-making cause you anxiety?  Do you tend to second guess yourself?  Do you wonder if the decision is the "right" one?  Or do you avoid taking action because you fear you will regret the decisions you have made?

In this episode, I expand on the idea of taking a hard look at what you are inspired by and using it to create a design template for all of the decisions that you have to make going forward to pull together a project, or room, that inspires you?

When you are feeling anxious or overwhelmed, you lose the sense of joy in your project.  And when you feel constricted by money or things that you don't want to work with, decorating a room that you will love can feel almost impossible.  But looking at things differently can open the window to more organized thought processes that yield a more creative overall design.

Don't let the decisions take the joy out of creating from your heart.  You can learn how to have more faith in your decision-making skills when you connect to your vision.  I teach you how to do the analysis upfront to enjoy taking the actions needed to fall in love with any makeover or room design!

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

  • how to use 4 analysis points to make decisions about style choices
  • what to do when the thing that you are using as inspiration for your project isn't actually going in your room
  • how to avoid over-buying
  • what actions cause the spiral of self-doubt
  • why you start buying things before you have a concrete plan
  • how to decide what goes and what stays
  • why creating a budget for your project is expansive rather than restrictive
  • what mindset shifts you can use to create from a place of abundance no matter the size of your project budget
