Notes on communicating in a way that connects with people:

Keep your audience in mind. Ask yourself, how is the person I am speaking with interpreting my manner of communication

Pace - Speed of speaking and your mannerisms (hands, gestures). Notice the pace of your audience and then get on their wavelength

Priority- Figure out what they value and use your pace to add that into how you communicate. Priority (what people value) consists of Tasks and Decisions

Those who are task oriented, value results, measurable things

This is because it helps them identify productivity.

Those who are more relational focus more on experience and make decisions based on context.

Understanding these classifications will help you effectively communicate with both personalities
