Episode 019: The Death of John O’Keefe and the Karen Read Trial
On January 28, 2022, John O’Keefe and his girlfriend, Karen Read, were hanging out with friends at a local bar. When the bar closed, the group of friends went to Brian and Nicole Albert’s house for an after party. Karen dropped John off at the party and went home, however when John did not come home, Karen went looking for him. Karen would find John’s body in the snow in front of the Albert’s home, and people who were at the party the night before said that John never came into the house. It appeared that Karen may have hit John with her vehicle as she left the residence, however Karen’s defense believes that it was actually an elaborate police cover up and John was murdered by someone at the party.
