Before his VC ventures, he was the CEO and Chairman of LeukoSite from its inception in 1993 until its acquisition by Millennium in 1999.
Before that he was a co-founder of Ionis Pharma who today sit at a 7-billion-dollar market cap and a workforce of 1,000 employees.
