Exploring solo travel is not just an adventure; it's a spiritual rite of passage that every woman should experience. In this episode, I passionately advocate for the importance of taking solo trips before settling down or starting a family, emphasising that joy shouldn't be postponed for a partner. We dive deep into the reasons why solo travel is empowering, from rediscovering your own identity to embracing spontaneity. I also share some of my own travel mishaps, including a memorable stint of food poisoning in Lisbon that only added to my adventure. By the end, I hope to inspire you to seize your own opportunities for exploration, reminding you that the world is yours to discover, on your terms.

TRAVEL APP SUGGESTIONS...
ViaTour
CityMapper (not all cities, but fab in London - great for transit directions)
Google Maps (car directions and walking)
Waze for accurate traffic updates
maps.me for offline downloadable maps
XE for currency conversion (sometimes you just can’t do the mental math, lol)
Rome2Rio for combining multiple options (ie., train, car, ferry etc.,)
Bumble BFF
Airalo (e-sim, very easy and often so much cheaper!)
Translate (I prefer this to google translate!)
VPN app (I like Express VPN, because you can use it on your desktop and phone, and it stays connected)
Flush (nearest bathroom, I think it’s mostly US based, but I could be wrong?)
