Sam and Rachel begin episode 022 consoling one another regarding the miserable and magical recent secret songs. Then, it feels like the perfect episode to discuss “22” off the Red (Taylor’s Version) album. Sam judges Rachel for missing the song when it was first released, Rachel confesses to missing it because she was bitter that when “22” came out she was becoming a mom and was definitely NOT feeling “22,” although Rachel admits this song about being happy, free, confused and lonely at the same time would have been the perfect anthem for a new mom. They also realize this is yet ANOTHER song where Taylor is attracted to someone who is Bad News. Maybe, Taylor, you don’t ALWAYS gotta have them.
