Sam and Rachel don’t waste a lot of time on Taylor Tea in the beginning of this episode as they are excited to get into the lyrics of the latest streaming release of a Midnights track from the Till Dawn Edition “Hits Different.” They both admit to first washing their hands of this song when it came out because they thought that if it was right to listen then Taylor would have released it right away on streaming. But after careful listen they know now nothing has ever made them so wrong because, to put it blunt, this song just hits different. They try to make sense of the argumentative, antithetical dream girl that are the lyrics in this song as it sounds like a bop but the lyrics are catastrophic blues. But that bridge? Well it can just take them awayyyyyyyyyyy!
