Film critic and co-host of Silver Screen Queens Katie Molloy is here to discuss Gene Kelly musicals and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Along the way we discuss the basic-level failure of Suicide Squad, the chronological adventures of Christian Slater, Time Lord, and the chrome-plated cannibalistic monomyth that is Star Wars.
Signature Cocktail: the Orange Slater
Tropical, punchy, and just the slightest bit hypnotic..
2oz silver rum
2oz orange juice
1oz lemon juice
1/2 triple sec
1/4oz simple syrup
1/4oz coconut syrup
sprig of mint and lime wedge, for garnish
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice, and shake vigorously for 30 seconds to combine. Pour, without straining, into a double Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with mint and lime wedge.
