Signature Cocktail: the Lorelei

And once this drink is mine, who know what its power might accomplish at my command? Though it’s just too big to hide behind a pair of glasses and an Izod shirt.

1oz vodka
1oz elderflower liqueur
1oz Calvados
1oz lemon juice
Orange peel, for garnish

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice, and shake vigorously for 30 seconds to combine. Strain into are-chilled cocktail glass. Serve neat as a martini, or add ice and 3 ounces of club soda for a highball.
