To start off the pod Jacob and Bo go into Dear Evan Hanson, a new Broadway to Hollywood adaption that should not exist. Following a heated discussion on the state of musicals in motion pictures, the duo breaks down the entire October release slate! An exciting crop of movies is coming out and it is only the beginning. After the ad break the two discuss 2016's Best Picture Nominee: Room. Room is an intense film centered around topics like kidnapping, self-harm, and sexual assault so if you prefer not to hear about it, we totally understand. The film however is a sad but beautiful story about the perseverance and strength that the human spirit can muster. To round out the pod, Bo fills everyone in on the October schedule (there will be fun new changes to the form), and gives off a hint about who the FIRST celebrity guest will be.
