Dr. Naresh Gunaratnam knew he wanted to be a gastroeterologist ever since he went on rounds with his uncle when we was 17.

In private practice at Huron Gastroenterology in Michigan he's been able to treat patients and and set aside time to conduct critical research on gastroenterological diseases and conditions.

His next act is developing programs to help patients manage their weight and promoting the role of GI physicians in treating obesity.
