This year has been… a lot. Between family emergencies, moving, leaving my career to coach full-time, hormone issues, and nonstop travel — my stress hit an all-time high.

I was getting stronger than ever in the gym, but my health was moving in the wrong direction. My sleep tanked, my hormones flatlined, and deep down I knew: adding the stress of competing wasn’t the right move.

So I made the hardest call for a Type-A, high achiever like me… I stepped away from the meet.
