Comic book writer, critic and podcaster Juliet Kahn is here to talk about Teen Titans. Along the way, we discuss being smitten with the goddess of death at age 8, when to pull out your limit break to protect your friends, and how Robin and Starfire are the ship that launched a thousand fics.
Signature Cocktail: The Starbolt
This is a drink for the good times. There will be music, and the iced creams, and the strange game involving the pins and the behind of a donkey. It’s gonna be glorious.
1 1/2oz white rum
1oz dark rum
1 1/2 oz pineapple juice
3/4oz lemon juice
1/2oz triple sec
1/4oz lime juice
1/4oz grenadine
pineapple, for garnish
Combine ingredients with ice in a blender and pulse to combine. Pour into a tiki mug and garnish with a pineapple stick.
