For this episode we’ll be chatting with Sarah Villinger or as her teammates know her – Bolo. Bolo has had a standout 2024-2025 season, making her mark with both bat and ball. With the bat, she’s averaged 9.6 with a strike rate of 57.83 and a high score of 14. But it’s with the ball where she’s really shone—taking an impressive 13 wickets at an average of 5.31, including two performances where she took 3/4. This season, Bolo was also named in the GMC Team of the Year and is our reigning leading wicket taker from last season. I sat down with Bolo at Nagambie Primary School, where the Nagambie E Grade side were taking on Waaia to book a place in next week’s grand final.
