Episode 1: Domestic Violence

​​During the COVID-19 crisis, there has been a significant increase in domestic violence in Europe. Countries facing these increasing numbers were obliged to take action. In this episode we argue that the COVID crisis has the potential to make a change by developing and improving prevention techniques. In our discussion, wee will focus on several perspectives and investigate whether or something has changed.

With our expert, Pauline Aarten, we discuss the impact that society has had on the victims and survivors of domestic abuse during COVID-19.
