Welcome to the first episode of Not Your School’s Library, where romance book enthusiasts Maddie & Nicole recommend books for each other — and you! — to read each week. In this particularly playful episode of Not Your School’s Library, Nicole is recommending Maddie one of her favorite books by one of their favorite authors: “Funny Story” by Emily Henry. What starts as a devastating break-up and Daphne’s fiancé leaving her for his girl best friend becomes a sweet story of love, home, and belonging. First, the gals talk about what made this book so fun — or funny — to read, their thoughts on the roommates and enemies-to-lovers trope, and where Miles fits into the BBB (Book Boyfriend Bracket).
