This is the inaugural episode of First, Last, Best, Worst- a podcast where we dissect the craft of songwriting by having an artist play their first, last, best, and worst songs. We want to know when and how they wrote their songs and why they choose them for this show. The first songwriter brave enough to play our game is Myles Holt, a Brooklyn based songwriter and band member of The Toothe (thetoothe.bandcamp.com). His brand of songwriting is deceptively charming and patently weird Folk Noir. Myles has hosts Taylor and Carl cracking up with evocative lyrics and deep insights into his craft.
