The fight for equality for LGBTQIA+ people has always been proud, but not always smooth. A lot of brave people have done a lot of brave work which has made today's world a safer, more comfortable place for young LGBTQIA+ folks. On episode 1 of Everyday Greatness, we will talk to the Founder and Chair of ABC pride and former President of Dykes on Bikes – Manda Hatter & ABC news producer Cameron Nicholls - Cameron was reluctant to come on the show as he said his life as a young gay man was "pretty smooth" and didn't think he had much of a story to tell. But the fact that a young gay man's life today is "pretty smooth" is a story worth telling.
