It's here! The first official episode of Residual Whispers Podcast, and we're excited to bring our new co-host, Brian Grace, along for the ride.
We are headed to Poveglia Island, which has some of the most insane and bone-chilling history that we've ever heard. The island, first appearing on historical record 1600 years ago in 421, has seen more than it's fair share of death after becoming a quarantine island for plague victims and later an insane asylum and nursing home. 🥵
It is said that 160,000 people have died here, and the ground is coated in a layer of human ash that makes up to 50% of the soil, which acts as a fertilizer for the now overgrown island.
