At the top waits the Mors Delectamenti: a hotel on Carbowee Mountain that curates its guests, pours a drink the colour of old garnets, and does not intend to let anyone leave. A doctor unmakes himself between one breath and the next. An inspector predicts a return that sounds too much like a memory. And beneath the Blood Moon, a cult called the Voraxi prepares to open a dead man's door.
