There is so much power in investigation your thoughts!!

Activity: Be brutally honest and start being extremely curious about your mental health, ask and write down in your emotional journal the following:
What is depression for you?
What does it mean? How long you've been depressed? 

What do you do when you are depressed (habits)? 

How do you act with others? 

Give yourself as many details as you can, for you to overcome Depression you need to understand it first!
