Ameek Singh, a registered nurse from the City of Brampton and an occasional radio host and panelist, is taking his experiences and skill sets to run for Brampton City and Regional Councillor in Wards 3 and 4.

Quick Disclaimer: I personally know Ameek and we both have been on local Peel radio station Sauga 960 AM for various shows and panels.

Brampton Wards 3 and 4, where Ameek is running, is bordered by the city limits to the south, Queen Street West to the north, Mavis and Mississauga Road to the west and Dixie Road to the east.

Ward 3 contains neighbourhoods such as Peel Village and Downtown Brampton south of Queen Street. Notable landmarks include Brampton City Hall, Gage Park, Peel Memorial Hospital and Shoppers World.

Ward 4 contains places such as Fletcher’s Sportsplex and the Flower City Community Campus.
