Anxiety and Depression were my default state of mind for the majority of my life to date.

Anxiety is rooted in fear. So fear drove every decision I made. Fear controlled my actions, my reactions, my sleep, my mood, basically my life.

It wasn’t until much later in life (ahem breaking a toxic relationship, seeking out therapy, and spending time on my healing) that I was able to open the door to my own self growth. This included growing my self awareness and self discovery.

By doing the work I needed to heal and grow, I was soon able to manage my anxiety. Did it disappear altogether? PSH I WISH!!!

Reality is, anxiety and bouts of depression, stress, anger, frustration, struggles, they never leave your life, you just manage it a heck of a lot better.

Anxiety and fear have ZERO control over my life, I have control over it.
