Do you remember watching Harrison Ford in the movie, “Indiana Jones”? This fictional but adventurous archeologist would often go on fantastic adventures in search of a lost treasure.

Some christians believe that God’s will is a lot like seeking a lost treasure, where you have to follow the clues to find God’s will. Yet, God has laid out His general will for your life in the Bible.

One example of God’s will for us to always give thanks. God teaches that we are to live with an attitude of gratitude. The Bible says, “In everything give thanks...” When we give thanks, we are demonstrating a heart of contentment. This spirit of thanks should be so part of our lives, that no matter what we face we can Thank God for all He has done. That is not just thanksgiving, it is “thanksliving.”
