Jennifer was born and raised in
Harare, Zimbabwe. Jennifer writes about Africa; both the landscape and being white in post-independent Zimbabwe. She also writes about domestic violence, body image and eating disorders. She is passionate about sharing her eating disorder recovery with others and is currently working on a poetry
collection on the subject.
Jennifer currently resides in Calgary, Alberta with her two daughters, three cats and numerous volumes of Pablo Neruda's poetry. She teaches ballet and her favorite poems are written for her children.
Jennifer bravely shares her story of living with anorexia and bulimia and I am so unbelievably grateful. So many people suffer in silence, and Jennifer and I discuss how important it is to let others in.
