Welcome to Daily Growth Point, I’m Pastor John Bingham.
Today, I want to wish you Happy Thanksgiving. This day has been set aside for our nation to remember the many blessings and provisions of God upon us and to give Him thanks.
Thanksgiving can be traced back to the 1621 harvest feast shared by the Plymouth colonists and the native people. Yet, thanksgiving has long been a part of God’s people.
David said, “I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: Upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee. It is he that giveth salvation unto kings…”
He said, “I WILL sing.” In other words, “No matter what, I choose to sing the praises of God.” Although the mountains are crumbling, although the world is shaking, he determined to praise.
Let us be willing to sing the praise of God no matter what because He is worthy of all praise.
