Every now and then, we like to talk about video games, and there's no better time to talk about video games than during the weekend-plus that was E3 2021, an event that we can definitely say did happen. And Nintendo was there to save the festivities from being a total bomb, as per usual. So please do enjoy the first half of this show, a good hour of video game talk and discussion and running down of upcoming projects and titles that will be released between the next few months to few years, if we're all lucky. Then stick around for the anime portion of this *anime* podcast, talking some upcoming theatrical releases, an update on a big Toonami project that's seeing a hefty delay, more of whatever the heck Netflix is doing, and a run-through of the festivities of the latest Discotek Day livestream announcements panel event - there was some screaming that happened when we watched it live. You can probably guess what for.
And stay tuned for next time, where we *finally* talk about that one really big movie everyone's already probably seen a few times over: MUGEN TRAIN.
P.S. - check out Alex talking more about Netflix's Geeked Week announcements, and deeper E3 coverage, over at The Training Stage Podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/show/the-training-stage
intro - ONA.EXE returns for this show
