episode 103 : the late bloomer

Listen Later

We welcomed National Cyclist Dalvin Koh to the red seats this week.

Fresh from the SEA Games, we caught up with Dalvin as he gave us a recap on how the race went and how he made his debut in Thailand as a 30 year old. At that age many athletes are winding down their careers, but Dalvin is just getting started.

Having ridden bikes on and off for most of his youth, Dalvin really started training hard over the last two years and has worked himself on to the national team roster with break out performances in the National Championships Road Race and other races throughout the region. Listen to his stories on how he steadily made progress rising through the ranks from a solo rider that was bullied during races by other teams to earning his spot on the roster for the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.

how many hours does he train? what bike does he ride? what was his breakout performance? who does he race for when he's not in national colours? what's his favourite race? how does he juggle training and a full time job? or does he? who is his coach? we discuss it allabout the guests:Dalvin Koh : @dalvin._how to get a hold of us: [email protected] @fahrenheitperformancepodcastListen now whenever you listen to your favourite podcasts (@Spotify / @applepodcasts etc) or watch it on @youtube.Trust the process...
