This Food Fable tells of Thomas Jefferson’s passion for the gardens of Monticello through his own written word. This letter, addressed to Monticello itself, recounts Jefferson’s memories of the garden’s history, evolution, and future aspirations, and confesses some of Jefferson’s favorite produce items amongst the vast varieties.
