Majick with a sprinkling of K
ABRAHADABRA and welcome friends to our show. We have a question for you. Do you believe in REAL Magic? You don’t? Well, you may laugh but, we’re not talking about the sleight of hand parlour tricks of Copperfield, Blane, Chris Angel etc. We mean REAL magic? Magic with a ‘K’ old boy? The kind of magick that involves the practitioner embracing and working with the hidden realms most people don’t even consider that surround us with the intent and aim of bringing change to their world. Well, some of you may believe it’s a real thing and some of you may not, and you know what? That’s ok. Viewpoints come down to a number of things, life experience, bias and the impressions fed to us throughout our lives by family, our education systems and the societal influences that we are constantly barraged by. One of the best qualities a person can have is a willingness to be open to the possibility they may not know everything. To be open to the possibility of learning new things, being open to seeing life in a different way when we receive new information and being willing to continually grow are some of the things that keep life exhilarating and fresh. You should always be open to the possibility that the universe may hold some secrets of her own that you’ve not been privy to up to now and we should never forget that. One thing that should spark your curiosity in regards to this topic is why has magick never died out? Why has it been around throughout our recorded history and a constant theme throughout all cultures in all corners of the world if there really is nothing to it? Humans quickly disregard and forget things that have no value or substance to them, so there must be a good reason it breathes stronger than ever in the present day. Magick has been a constant through our ever-evolving cultures and appears to be getting stronger with every passing year at the moment. Our view is that Magick is a technology, science and an art form that can and should run alongside modern science instead of them being diametrically opposed to each other.
Join us on the first part of our trilogy detailing the journey of Magick through the ages from the ancient rites of Sumer, Babylon, Egypt, up through the middle ages and up to present day. In Part 2 we will cover Chaos magic, Voodoo, ritual murders and famous magick practitioners within the music industry and other forms of popular entertainment. We will round off the trilogy of shows in Part 3 with the modern occult revival, The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, Thelema, Aleister Crowley, Jack Parsons, Magickal Death cults, The Secret Chiefs, The Black Lodge and modern day conspiracies that have shaken the earth and much, much more.
Our 3 shows will pull the veil off the multitude of traditions that have ebbed and flowed throughout our history, the major players that have been involved and the many conspiracies and world events that have been shaped by this fascinating phenomena.
So Mote it Be!!!
Enjoy.
