Surely anyone who was in middle school around 2012-2013 has heard about Slender Man. The tall, faceless, and headless tuxedo man started off as a folklore in connection to a photoshopping contest, and soon became the pinnacle of everyone's nightmares. He became so popular that his likeness was featured in multiple video games, and served as the inspiration for television characters. The legend of Slender Man states that he is a hunter and abductor of children and of adults who summon him. With the ability to shapeshift into people's phobias, teleport, and cause people paranoia, Slender Man has solidified his name into the "Horror Story Hall of Fame." While some claim he is merely mythological, others claim to have experienced his presence in reality. As a matter of fact, Slender Man's name has been used as a scapegoat for crimes committed by minors between the years of 2013-2015. You won't want to miss the rundown of this twisted tale. Lorenzo, who was an eighth grader during the height of the Slender Man's popularity, discusses the eerie feelings that middle schoolers encountered in regards to his captivating and ambiguous nature. Michelle returns to the show, decked out in a unicorn outfit, and attempts to explain why Slender Man is her dream man. (Although she refuses to play the game!)
