We’ve met our new best friend: Dorothea Puente! On the first episode of Summer 2022, Michelle and Lorenz dive into Dorothea Puente, a crazy faux octogenarian who posed as a caretaker so she could murder people! Puente lured many elderly and mentally disabled people into her home, nourished them with creme de menthe, and then proceeded to tell their kin they had either fled or died. In actuality, she’d offed them herself and buried them in her backyard! The real kicker in this tale is that Dorothea, who was in her 50’s at the time, would pretend she was 30 years her senior, because let’s be real, who doesn’t love biddies? Join us as we celebrate our new mascot by printing out a picture of her and creating a makeshift garden!

Michelle and Lorenzo are back after a brief Spring hiatus to discuss the death of Marilyn Monroe. The new Netflix documentary, ”The Unheard Tapes of Marilyn,” showcases a new group of insights into the starlet’s mysterious demise. Former friends and co-stars of the time posthumously reveal their thoughts on what really happened to Marilyn. Did she actually die of a barbiturate overdose? Did she know government secrets she wasn’t supposed to? Were the Kennedy brothers responsible for her passing? The United States was taken by storm in the mid 1980’s as a string of bizarre deaths occurred in connection to Tylenol. A handful of individuals, all within a few days, ingested Tylenol, citing routine headaches and nausea, and died within a couple of hours of doing so. Following investigation, it was determined that cyanide had been found during their respective autopsies. What makes this case evil and eerie is that it’s never been solved. Michelle and Lorenzo try to tackle the case with the help of Google Home, almond cake, and of course, the queen of the vampires, Marilyn Monroe.

Yes, you heard us right! The New Orleans Vampire Association is a real group of individuals who claim to be real vampires. They cite their blood drinking proclivities as a dependency, and go out to find donors who let them go to town. While most vampires claim to be benevolent, there are other accounts that say otherwise... like one woman who claimed she was hypnotized by an ugly old man who bared fangs directly in front of her... and that woman... was Michelle. H.H. Holmes was one of the most innovative serial killers. Born as the middle child in a family of five, the poor bastard was doomed for failure. He became interested in human dissection early in life, and after successfully tricking an elderly couple into selling him their drug store, he turned it into his own hotel of horrors. After luring unsuspecting victims in, he would initiate an affair with them, gain their trust, and murder them. The weirdest part about this story is the fact that Mr. Holmes would create outlandish false leads to throw detectives off of his trail.
