One of the unfortunate recipients was Ron Gillespie, who was told that his wife Mary was having a torrid affair and unless he did something about it, the scandal would be leaked onto the news. Ron ventured out to confront the mystery man with reasonable suspicion of his identity, but was strangely killed in a car accident before he could do anything about it. The letters continued and it only got worse for those involved. Although the suspect list was narrowed down, there were so many twists, turns, and loopholes that nobody has ever been able to nail down the man's true identity. Luca and Lorenzo have their own theories about the dollar store version of the Zodiac Killer, and they may shock you! Meghan and Lorenzo take a trip "closer to home," as they discuss the ghost of Elizabeth Palmiter, otherwise known by her much more exciting alias, "The Green Lady." This ominous, beautiful lady was rumored to either have been murdered and thrown into a swamp by her husband, or died in an attempt to look for him in one of New England's famous blizzards. The poor woman lived next to the Seventh Day Baptist Cemetery in Burlington, Connecticut, which is also unfortunately where she died. Not only does she haunt the burial ground and adjacent roads, but she does so with a green glow around her body and a smile on her face: pretty optimistic for a potential murder victim! As if that wasn't enough of a presence, there is also a portrait of her that still hangs high in the house she once lived in that haunts the house and overlooks the vicinity. The true crime case that bonded Michelle and Lorenzo was the disappearance of Elisa Lam. The ambiguity of the college student's unsolved death makes this story one of the strangest. In 2013, while on a west coast road trip, Lam vanished out of thin air. At the time, she was staying at the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles, which was notoriously haunted, and had a vast history of drug-related activity, prostitution, murder, suicide, and paranormal sightings. Hotel surveillance wasn't much help, as officials had a difficult time finding her on the playback. It did, however, eliminate the possibility that she left the hotel, meaning that she was somewhere on location. The only footage is a disturbing three-minute clip of Lam exhibiting neurotic and extremely absurd behavior on an elevator, acting as if someone or something was after her... and then, her body was found... in a water tank. Nothing else is known, but there are many theories involving ghosts and a potential schizophrenia diagnosis. Michelle continues to swoon over Slender Man as they prepare for her music video shooting for the newest remix "Party For Two," also set to star Elisa Lam and the Cecil Hotel ghosts. The tall, faceless, and headless tuxedo man started off as a folklore in connection to a photoshopping contest, and soon became the pinnacle of everyone's nightmares. He became so popular that his likeness was featured in multiple video games, and served as the inspiration for television characters. The legend of Slender Man states that he is a hunter and abductor of children and of adults who summon him. With the ability to shapeshift into people's phobias, teleport, and cause people paranoia, Slender Man has solidified his name into the "Horror Story Hall of Fame." While some claim he is merely mythological, others claim to have experienced his presence in reality. As a matter of fact, Slender Man's name has been used as a scapegoat for crimes committed by minors between the years of 2013-2015. You won't want to miss the rundown of this twisted tale. Lorenzo, who was an eighth grader during the height of the Slender Man's popularity, discusses the eerie feelings that middle schoolers encountered in regards to his captivating and ambiguous nature.
