THE COLONEL had a BRITISH guest today from the Deathstar now living here in The Colonies - Captain Martin Gooch DSO and barred from many London Soho hostelries. We discussed Ibiza where we served together in The 24/7th Light infantry unit of All-Nighters, mused over being separated by a common language here in 'Merica, what we've loved about Californ-I-A so far and Captain Gooch's burgeoning Hollywood Film Director career. We washed away the hour with some lovely covers, eccentric wailers and a little bit of the "White Isle", for old time's sake...
