THE COLONEL started with 3 beautiful and awesome film scores and finished with an electro-band from Ukraine. In between? The usual eclectic and random smorgasbord (that's charcuterie, you savage) of tunes from now and indeed... then.

It was THE COLONEL's 30th episode today so he thought of 30Rock. Consequently, today's episode will hopefully get your ears bleeding - with a soothing dash of Tina Fey's finest hours. Mainly new Rock but some of the old Rockers too...

From The Untouchables to Snake Eyes its the usual eclectic and random fare you've come to expect but with a lot more chat - because it's Pledge Time - and we need the cash you have to leap out of your pocket into our tweed plus fours, so we can get better and survive.  

THREE movie ditties to start each episode from now on as THE COLONEL has retired his weekend show, followed by the usual array of ragga, pop, punk, rock, rap about lip gloss and Aceeeeed from a Brass Band.

THE COLONEL paid tributes to the great, the genius, the pioneer who was Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys who died the day before on June 11th. Mainly from Smile, beautiful chords and music shall be played and there are accompanying tunes - all of whom were influenced by the great man - some without realizing. The episode s very pledgy too - so gissus yer money. RIP BRIAN - may you now find the peace you didn't find in life...

THE COLONEL is very pledgy today as we start our drive to raise 6 bags of sand for the station to keep us in cream teas and scones for the year.
