Episode 112 – The Long Goodbye to Evangelion
After a few extra weeks of preparation for this momentous occasion, we are now ready to bid a long goodbye, farewell, and amen to the wild world of Evangelion with its final film, aptly titled Shin Evangelion (or that long clunky title if you prefer), the culmination of 26 years of just not going to therapy and instead making a landmark anime property instead. Whatever works, right? And we also have the first convention any of us have been to since... well, you know, along with a surprise early pickup for Funimation, even more surprises coming in October from Netflix, some continued frustration over the lack of a premiere date for Demon Slayer, and Inuyasha hitting Blu-ray in Japan... with a catch.
Evangelion: it's some lore thing or something, I don't remember. Sums up the whole franchise, doesn't it?
