Basketball ran in the bloodline for Ryan Watkins and his family. That being said, nothing was ever given to him. He had to literally work for everything he had to get to where he is now. 

From his days in High School, to not being recruited, to finding a home at Boise State University, to now playing over in the ABL, Watkins has a true underdog mentality and story to go along with it.
