This week I'll be tackling my first ever male female duet of the 60's (one that you probably won't be familiar with ESPECIALLY if your a Millennial) but one can argue that even if your a baby boomer and you grew up with this kind of music, this one might have slipped through the cracks for you because this particular duo is relatively obscure because they only had 3 charting singles and none of them made the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 (they were essentially lower charting singles, but still very popular at the time of their initial releases). but the group's initial chart positions for their only three charting singles doesn't undermine how good they were and today, I'm going to talk about exactly how awesome this song is and what makes it so good musically and lyrically, and why this is a song you'll definitely be able to relate to even if your a Millennial and you've never heard this song before. here's the link to this week's song just in case you've never heard it before:
