Food is an intricate part of our hearth, home, earth .  Food is nature sacred gift to all life and to the formation of  communities that sustain and nourish ourselves, the Earth.  What is the solution to world hunger, and having sufficient food for every being on the planet. Maya gives insight into the necessity for creating communities - not of sameness but from the diversity of exactly who we are and where we are at present.
She speaks to the power of diversity, of cooperation, co-exisiting without the concepts of leader/follower, creative/destructive, good/bad..she reminds us that the one true leader to whom we owe our fealty is Mother Earth.
