In this episode of Shift with Elena Agar - I sit down with Alka Bromiley - founder of Inspire2. Alka provides coaching, workshops, advice, and direction through mentorship for both individuals and businesses. She is a workshop facilitator and trainer. As a part of Inspire2 LLC, Alka owns and hosts the Changing Platforms podcast. Since it was launched in September 2021, this global podcast has released over 90 episodes and has an audience in over 55 countries. At the end of 2022, the podcast was in the top 5% most shared globally on Spotify and in the top 15% most followed podcasts on Spotify. Alka has over 2000 hours of experience in podcasting and trains individuals on the topic. Alka is also an award-winning motivational speaker. She is trained to compete, and she has won numerous international speech contests with Toastmasters International, a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills. She has delivered speeches across the globe, from New Zealand to Dubai, as well as coached and mentored other speakers.
Alka is a trained laughter practitioner! The combination of coaching and laughter has the power to alter lives for the better, and it's a proven fact that a thriving home and work environment both depend on happiness. Alka entwines the serious side of laughter into her workshops, creating a unique approach to learning and development.
Of Indian heritage, Alka was born in Kenya and raised in England. She has lived and worked in England, Spain, Cyprus, Dubai, and now the USA. Her rich background provides an international flair and diversity to her storytelling and training delivery. Alka thrives on providing the best communication and service, and she focuses on helping people find happiness. Alka talks openly about her own experiences of abuse and domestic violence, as she believes that sharing one’s experiences of survival can help others make a positive change in their lives.
