Reminiscing about the old days, our early bands' first gigs, and many musical memories of the era, we get a phone call from some old friends and the nostalgia kicks into high gear. Reagan gives Gorby an ultimatum, the U.S. trades arms for hostages, Klaus Barbie and Rudolf Hess face the music. And speaking of music, as we so often do, 1987 was a pivotal year in the evolution of popular music. Hair metal begins its inevitable decline as “alternative” music goes mainstream and Grunge is right around the corner. And lastly, our selection for Movie of the Year for 1987 is a no-brainer!
