The protagonist’s life unravels as he balances drug smuggling, addiction, and a deteriorating relationship with Becca. Expanding into cocaine transportation ends in disaster, forcing him to shut down operations. After he sells the restaurant and detoxes, he resolves to leave the criminal world but succumbs to the lure of a “big score.” A final attempt at a grand criminal summit collapses in a police raid, landing him back in prison and forcing him to confront whether it’s time to leave his dangerous ambitions behind.
