Is college worth going to? That's the million-dollar question most of Gen-Z and Millenials are asking now with the rise of social media and content creation. It's generally known and accepted that going to get a post-secondary education opens more doors in terms of salary. College degrees (whether we're talking an associate or bachelor's) levels you up, but does that still hold true these days? More people are taking gap years before or after college and while it used to be frowned upon as a "waste of time" more and more people are finding value in exploring their interests before settling down in a job that they'll most likely be in for the next 30 years. In this month's episode, we hear from Meaghan who went from thinking she was going into a field that seemed "practical" at 18 to now finding a new path that better suits her. Meaghan shares her own educational journey and why college isn't the "end-all, be-all" of adolescence into adulthood.
