"Roses are red, violets are blue, one is dead, and so are you."
When it comes to Valentine's Day and horror movies, 99 percent of the time, My Bloody Valentine is brought up. The legend of psychotic miner Harry Warden is huge in the horror community and we're going to find out why.The film has some good things going for it: a creepy legend concerning the killer, a gory calling card from said killer, and some creative kills. But...there's also characters that are called kids when they're pushing 40 or older, lots of scenes that lead to nothing, and an ending that at least left one of our hosts shaking their head in disappointment.
Is it worth the praise it's gotten over the decades or is it just another Hallmark holiday? And how many references to Carrie does this movie try to throw at you? Avoid the Valentine's Day dance and find out!
